Math always tends to be a tough one. It's the subject that parents always seem to be looking for additional resources or full on curriculum. Over the years we have tried many things and real life application always seems to be the best teacher. But when we're looking to practice skills and work on a steady stream of concepts we head to our favorite apps and websites.

Language arts can be such a fun subject. But we all know that teaching spelling
and grammar rules can be tricky. We can not say enough good things about khan academy's grammar lessons. David's video lessons explain things so clearly, he gives relevant examples, and is quite entertaining. Our other app suggestions are great for practicing spelling, parts of speech, and fun brain games!
There are SOOO many websites and apps out there. Sometimes it's hard to know
where to start. Here are just a handful of apps & a website that we utilize on the
regular around here! Definitely recommend checking these out if you haven't already.
